NHGSoc is partnering with the Midwest Genealogy Center (MGC); part of the Mid-Continent Public Library (MCPL) system, located in Independence, MO, to host a Native Hawaiian Genealogy Seminar in Fall 2012.

This partnership will allow for the first time in the Midwest, a robust discussion of the unique aspects of studying Native Hawaiian genealogy, to the general public, through a full-day event.

NHGSoc is excited for the opportunity to bring this event to the mainland and to share the important work we do within our community.

Through this partnership, MGC will also direct their members and patrons interested in studying Native Hawaiian genealogy, to NHGSoc.
